Al Held Watercolors was a major artist exhibit for the well known Abstract Expressionist painter that displayed eight of his finest watercolors from the mid-1980s, from October 13-November 5, 1988, at the Andre Emmerich Gallery in New York. Heavy printed card stock covers in tall, quarto oblong format, in gatefold, with full-color reproductions of eight abstract expressionist watercolors. Unpaginated, but roughly 22 pp. and including an introductory essay by Andrew Forge, then concludes with artist exhibitions notes. Al Held was born in New York in 1928, and his work has been honored in 1986 and 1987 in several major retrospectives.
