The book plate is from the San Francisco Public Library, Library numbers and markings printed below the 1906 copyright statement on copyright page, there is also a blind-stamped S.F. Public Library stamp perfectly centered at the bottom of the front cover. this is one of the few times where the library association with the book does not distract from its value, otherwise book is in great condition with numerous photos throughout. This book also has a booksellers sticker "Fred Lockley Rare Western Books, Port. Oregon" on the inside top of the front pastedown. This had been a reference book at one time therefore does not have the library envelope for a book that would have been checked out. If you buy another book please be sure to check whether or not it has the long folding picture at the rear of the book as they sometimes are missing due to someone pulling it out to frame.
