Richly illustrated, scarce catalogue of the 1923 exhibition of 19th and 20th-century French art in Prague, organised by the Czech artist association, S. V. U. Mánes. With Czech Cubist cover designed by Jaroslav Benda. The cover of the catalogue was designed in Czech Cubist style by painter, graphic artist and typographer Jaroslav Benda (1882-1970), whose work significantly contributed to the development of Czech book design from the 1910s. The catalogue also features an advertisement of the pioneering Czech avant-garde photographer, František Drtikol's (1883-1961) studio.
