Original 30 page revised draft shooting script used in the production of the television comedy series, Pete and Gladys, entitled ÔThe Prize,Õ written by Devery Freeman, which aired on February 12, 1962 (Season 2, Episode 21). Bradbound. Near fine copy with just a hint of use in printed wrappers. Pete and Gladys was one of the first television series spin-offs, developing from the popular show, December Bride, and starred Harry Morgan (Dragnet and M*A*S*H) as Pete Porter and Cara Williams as his wife, Gladys.

After suffering a serious injury she meets Smithfield "Smitty" Cobb (Melvyn Douglas) who helps her find the men her husband saved, though he does not tell her he is one of them. He tries to help her reconcile her pain and guilt, while he treats his own pain from the war with heavy drinking. 8 x 10 inches. Near Fine.

Based on the 1979 novel "Father Sky" by Devery Freeman. Upon hearing their military academy is to be closed and sold in a year, a group of cadets hold an armed rebellion against their teachers in an attempt to uphold the honor of the school's long and illustrious history. Sean Penn's film debut and Tom Cruise's first major role. Set at the fictional Bunker Hill Military Academy, shot on location in Wayne, Valley Forge, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Untitled olive "Stanley Jaffe Production" wrappers. Title page present, dated June 30, 1980, with credits for screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen. 135 leaves, with last page of text numbered 134. Final Draft script for the 1954 film. The fifth of seven films in the popular "Francis the Talking Mules series, all made in the 1950s. Copy belonging to technical advisor Major Lane Carlson, with his name in manuscript blue ink on a label affixed on the front wrapper, and his annotations throughout. Carlson acted as a consultant on the military aspects of the film, as the film involves Francis joining the Army, going to the Pentagon, etc. Salmon titled wrappers, noted as Final Screenplay on the front wrapper, dated February 9, 1954. 157 leaves, Multilith duplication, with blue, pink, and yellow revision pages throughout, dated variously between 2-17-54 and 4-5-54. Pages and wrapper Very Good plus, in a three ring binder used during production.
