Previous owner's name and date (1946) to ffep. and a few tape ghosts to endpapers. A little darkening to top of front panel of book. Still, a tight, clean copy of this 223 pp. book with illustrations by the author throughout.

Interior crisp and clean, dust wrapper chipped at spine. Signed on free endpaper by previous owner. Red cloth covered boards, illustrated & embossed on the cover. Very good, in good dust wrapper.

A solid copy to boot of the 1946 stated 6th printing. Clean and VG+ to Near Fine in a bright, price-intact, VG dustjacket, with light chipping along the spine crown and very light creasing at the top-edges. Wonderfully illustrated by Rea Irvin, Foreword by the formidable Lucius Beebe.
