Previous owner's name and date (1946) to ffep. and a few tape ghosts to endpapers. A little darkening to top of front panel of book. Still, a tight, clean copy of this 223 pp. book with illustrations by the author throughout.

A solid copy to boot of the 1946 stated 6th printing. Clean and VG+ to Near Fine in a bright, price-intact, VG dustjacket, with light chipping along the spine crown and very light creasing at the top-edges. Wonderfully illustrated by Rea Irvin, Foreword by the formidable Lucius Beebe.

Published for Hussies and Homebodies." Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. Mild browning to endpapers along hinges, a few extremity rubs. Jacket has a few closed edge tears, a few shallow edge chips, slight rubbing, but no significant loss. Bright, attractive copy.
