Hyde to front free endpaper, a few early annotations in pencil.Third edition, 'fifteenth thousand', of a very rare manual on veterinary homoeopathy. Of the annotations, the most notable strikes through the advice that 'if cattle or sheep have a persistent cough, they should be at once prepared for the butcher' (p. 33). Copac finds one example of this edition (National Library of Wales), and only four copies of others, all undated (BL, Bodleian, CUL, NLS). None could be traced at auction.
