Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. 1st Edition. 256 pages, published by "W H Allen in association with The Novelty Trading Co Ltd" and, on the copyright page, is written "Specially reprinted for The Novelty Trading Co Ltd" though this copy is taken as as a 1st edition. The "sub-title" of "The Story . . . etc" appears on the jacket cover only, not on the title page. "This very powerful, graphic novel, explicit in its descriptions of cruelty, passion and the lot of slaves . . ." is based on the legend of Annie Palmer, and was written following the author's research in Jamaica. Jacket presents well but is assessed as poor - edge-wear on top and bottom; a tear and some damage at top of rear side which has been sellotape-repaired; corner wear, with nicks and a little loss, at top of rear flap.
