Soft cover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Mass Market paperback stated first printing April, 1992. (ISBN 0-8217-3725-2) Good tight copy, unread, good wrappers. He was headed for the High Lonesome looking for trouble and finding it! Blood on the land. Young Scott Rawley had no desire to be saddled with one piece of Texas grazing land for the rest of his life even it was the spread his pa had worked with pride. There was just one more trip left to the bank before the Rawley ranch would be paid off in full. After that Scott aimed to tell his pa he was headed for a gamblin' career on his favorite Mississippi riverboat. But a couple of sidewindin' bushwhackers gunned down old Rawley on his way to town to make the final payment, and they took the money with them. When Scott found out who'd taken over the unpaid Rawley spread, he mounted up, iron hanging from his hip. Those scummy back shooters weren't as smart as they thought and the whole state of Texas wasn't big enough to hide the Rawley brand of justice! Western.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Mass market paperback, marked first printing, August 1990. (ISBN 0-8217-3103-3). Good tight copy, unread, good shiny wrappers. His Colt .44 had gotten him in trouble before, but that wouldn't stop him from killin' if he had to! Gun smoke on the range. Some folks called him cross-grained and ornery, but Smoke Wylie never gave a man anything he didn't have comin'. So when Smoke's pa, Nate, began thinkin' about running a bunch of prairie drifters of Lost Horse Hollow, Smoke let him know that he'd have no part of it. His pa's Pitchfork Ranch was already the biggest in Jackpine, maybe too big. Then ate trumped up an excuse to clear off those drifters with gunpowder and hot lead. Smoke outright sided against his own kin when one of the nesters told him that his pa planned damming up the river and dryin' out all the other ranchers. Well, snakes don't always rattle 'fore they bite and it wasn't long before Smoke discovered that the no-account drifter had dealt him a card from the bottom of the deck. He knew that shootin' a man wasn't easy, but he also knew that to get himself back into his family's good graces he'd just have to yank iron and deal out a hard dose of range justice. Smoke Wylie style! Western.
