This catalog was prepared to celebrate fifty years of the Austrian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, from June 10 to September 9, 1984. The original building was designed in 1934 by Josef Hoffmann and the purpose of this exhibition was to document the history of this project through architectural drawings, plans, elevations and photographs. And to restore the parts of the structure that needed repair. All this was undertaken by the architect and curator Hans Hollein. 85 illustrations in black & white. 11" high X 9" wide, 119 pages.
