Wrappers. Condition: Very Good. In original yellow wrappers with black lettering on covers, 48 pages. Records suggest that this is the first publication of the transcript of D'Ibervilles's expedition, which travelled along Florida's west coast and the north coast of the Gulf of Mexico to the mouth of the Mississippi. Iberville built a fort on Biloxi Bay and left a garrison there when he returned to France in 1699. TPL 122. Dionne 1130. Lande S-2292. Literary and Historical Society of Quebec, Historical Documents, Series 3, No. 4. Covers lightly foxed, some chipping to spines.
