The author argues that this style of gardening achieved prominence only within the last decade, due to the state's mild climate and the influx of wealthy patrons in the post-war era. The author provides techniques and advice for successfully designing and maintaining a landscaped garden, as well as in-depth reflections on the interplay between nature and art in this setting. This illustrative and analytical guide offers a valuable resource for garden designers and enthusiasts alike, and for those seeking to create their own artful outdoor space. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
