Item Description: Signed. Two large format 13" x 10 1/2" silver print Photographic Portraits of the President, Signed by his photographer Jacques Lowe. Among the best-known, most iconic images of the late President. ~~For two years during his presidential campaign, and then after the 1960 election, Jacques Lowe was JFK'S photographer. He turned down an offer to become the official White House photographer, opting instead to become the personal photographer for the First Family with unprecedented access inside the White House and out. Lowe's pictures of the President and his family have an intimacy that was fundamental to defining that era in US history known as Camelot.~~The archive of his images of Jack Kennedy and his family were stored for safe-keeping in a vault in Tower 5 of the World Trade Center. Tragically, they were reduced to ash on September 11,2001 four months after Lowe's death.~~Accompanied by a signed First Edition copy of Lowe's book JFK Remembered in which both photographs are featured.~.
