Stated: Of the Limited Edition of Alphonse Daudet, one thousand copies have been printed for America. This copy is Number 427. This classic volume of Daudet's works comes in red boards with the title information glued onto the top of the spine. The exterior of this volume has lightly worn areas on all four corners, more worn areas at the top and bottom of the spine and wear marks on the spine itself, and finally light scuffing marks on the two covers. The guilt top edge of the closed book though remains in very well-preserved condition. The interior book has no visible extraneous markings or other distractions and thus all printing and illustrations are in a very well-preserved and enjoyable condition. The bindings are just beginning to crack inside the rear cover but otherwise remain tight and sound.
