Slight foxing to prelim pages. With a presentation inscription on the first page from Elsie Hall. Oblong 12mo. Jessie Hall's pictures - often of rural scenes such as cart horses, ploughing, harrowing or returning home in twilight, and largely set in the South Downs, were exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Walker Art Gallery, and her designs for Christmas and greeting cards went all over the world.
