Inneliegend das 19seitige Textheft mit den Farbenmischtabellen, NUR 29 der 30 Tafeln (die Nr. 29 fehlt leider) und das Farbenaufstrichheft Z12 mit 3 Seiten Text, 1 Bl., 2x31 Bl. Farben. [1929] Hardcover oblong 4to portfolio housing 19pp booklet and 29 out of 30 color plates (tafeln). Lacking plate 18. Plates VG+ to near fine, though one is trimmed at the lower edge. Booklet VG+ with light sunning and shelfwear. Portfolio good to very good, frayed at the joints and with paper fringe arounf the inner rear board- perhaps there were originally flaps that have since been lost. Booklet and portfolio lightly stamped with "Property of B. F. Shearer Company." A very nice copy of this rare portfolio, despite the lacking plate. Bookseller Inventory # z06542

Book Condition: Good +. published mid to late 1920s. 19 pp booklet (text in German); 30 plates (14"x10") in vivid colors depicting complex color designs in model rooms and exhibitiion halls; the colors are extraordinarily rich and some plates are further enhanced with gold and silver. This is an exlibrary copy. The plates are in very good condition; there is some light wear and soiling at the edges and each has been stamped on the back (no bleed through). The booklet is in good condition. The paper is toned, cover soiled, and a small piece is torn from the front corner. Plates and stable bound folio are housed in a gray portfolio, with a yellow strip and title information printed to one side of the upper flap. Some small stains and wear to the portfolio, plates and are in very good, bright condition, book is slightly foxed where the plates have rested, otherwise very good. An architectural and interior design catalog, showing room renderings in vibrant colors with an unmistakable Bauhaus modernist aesthetic.
