Full Leather. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Numerous full page illustrations. Full leather with red letter spine labels. Scattered foxing and occasional light edge wear to text. Title page missing from volume I. Text is overall fairly clean and otherwise intact. One spine label is missing, and another is lacking about half of the label. Of the 24 total boards, three are missing, three are detached, and five are loosened. Spine ends show varied amounts of chipping, though become fairly severe on a couple of the volumes.

Note: Above each frontispiece is a number which corresponds to the particular numbered newsprint article appearing in the volume itself.
