8vo. 268 pp. Light-blue tweed boards, dark blue lettering on spine (old tape offsetting marks on endppaers, minor shelfwear, light occasional toning), w/ d.j. cover art of rocket to Mars (couple minor closed tears, very minor rubbing, offsetting from old tape mark on flaps), still VG-/VG- copy. First edition of this Kornbluth & Merril post-apocalyptic space adventure on Mars positing that the red dust of Mars produced a powerful drug that "men from Earth ravened for this opiate.".
