Paperback. Condition: Very Good. Illustrated by Kaufmann & Fabry Co. (illustrator). B&W Photographs; 10.80 X 9 X 0.30 inches; 61 pages; Stapled wraps has light rubbing/scuffing, sunning. Owner's name neatly written at top, August 1933. Lavishly illustrated with dozens of b/w photos. Some pages have sunning, foxing, closed tear and corner crinkle. 'A Century of Progress International Exposition' was the name of a World's Fair held in Chicago from 1933 to 1934, celebrating the city's centennial. The fair's theme was technological innovation. The fair's motto was "Science Finds, Industry Applies, Man Conforms"; its architectural symbol was the Sky Ride, on which one could ride from one side of the fair to the other. A real blast from the past, to see how much things have changed, and how much is still the same. Dinosaurs, then as now, were very popular.
