About this Item: KNIGHTS OF THE KU KLUX KLAN, ATLANTA, 1921. Very scarce. Condition: VERY GOOD. A little square paperback, 4"x4" (fits perfectly in your robe) of 96 pages in brown covers with drawings of two klansmen on horseback in full regalia. Contains the basic constitution and by-laws, giving the duties of the Exalted Cyclops as well as the Klaliff and even the Klokard! It also provides information on the Kludd (in charge of musical programs), the Kligripp and the Klabee, who counts the money. You can also read about the Kladd, who takes care of the robes, and the Klarogo, whose job is to keep a diligent eye upon the inner door of the Klavern. His counterpart is the Klexter, who keeps his eye on the outer door. It is a fascinating look at the workings of America's most infamous hate group. For example, did you know they had their own calendar (Kalendar)? For example, if you are interested in the Klan's date of the Dreadful Day of the Wonderful Week of the Hideous Month, this book lets you know that this is one and the same as the Saturday in the fourth week of the month of March. Book's front cover has a quarter-inch tear at lower right corner, but no missing paper. It is perfect-bound with minor wear and soiling. Seller Inventory # E218
