The accompanying catalogue of the exhibition of black porcelains held in the Lacquer Museum in Munster and later on in the year in Schloss Favorite near Rastatt, Germany. The exhibition deals with the influence of Chinese and Japanese lacquer and porcelain and their influence on European black ceramics such as Meissen, Delft ware, Sevres, English and Vienna wares.
