Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Pogany, Willy (illustrator). 1st US edition. 1st ptg. Small 4to, full taupe cloth printed in black, blue and mustard, illustrated with 16 "linocut" color plates mounted on blue-gray stiff paper, 27 full page and 170 text illustrations in black and blue, grey endpapers with pictorial design in brown and blue. Spine letting faded, mild soil to light cloth, wear to tips. Several of the black and white drawings have been lightly colored and a few pages have been roughly opened, Otherwise, a very nice copy without names or bookplates.
