Original publisher's green cloth lettered and decorated Floral patterning with a crown) gilt on spine and on front cover Chapters on Fishing ( Trout Salmon Bass and Saithe - 5 chapters) Fencing (Lady C C) Sailing, Boating, Swimming Skating, Tennis, Archery and Golf. Each chapter has an attractive photo vignette of its author in the text. Volume 1 of a series of The Victoria Library for GentlewomenÑ other books dealt with Society and Hygiene. Rather rare and very early for the subject, WorldCat shows just one copy-- in the British Library. Very faint rubbing. Very slight nick at head of spine with no loss. Very good.
