Published by The Fortnightly Press, Agoura CA, 1934
Magazine / Periodical First Edition Signed
Magazine. 48p., 6.5x9.5 inches, a staple-fastened self-wraps journal. No illustrations; nor a cover-wrapper, perhaps as issued (no signs of any removal of a cover). Film commentary (Hollywood's talkies) and book reviews (of a Robinson Jeffers study) et cetera. Text within bears scattered faint pencil-bracketing to margins, outermost leaves are mildly edgeworn and smudged. Autographed by California author Carey McWilliams on the front cover (rather than at his contribution on pages 7-9 "Law and the Future"). Why on the front? Perhaps visibility. Perhaps ease of acess. Or maybe a hint as to the possible identity of the pseudonymous cover page author, "Questor." We can only speculate. At any rate, a good reading copy. San Francisco arts and literature bi-weekly journal.
