Printed card covers. Both the illustrator and the author have signed this copy. 75 pp. Lesley McAllister was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1949. She studied journalism at Centennial College and Fine Arts at York University. From 1981 to 1984 she edited Identity, a series of literary/visual chapbooks. Her writing has appeared in various literary and art publications and has been anthologized in Sp/Elles: Poetry by Canadian Women (Block Moss) and Swift Current (Coach House). She has published a children's book Falkstode, and No Habla Espanol, a prose chapbook. The Blue House is her first full-length book of fiction.
