Binding remains firm. Crinkling to pages at gutters. Pages are moderately tanned throughout. Occasional foxing. Pencil and crayon marks to front pastedown. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a slight forward lean.

Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Hardcover. Good/None. First. A lovely book with terrific illustrations in the Norman Rockwell style of sentimental realism. The boards are scuffed. The corners are bumped. The pages have aged to a cre amy tan. The interior is quite clean. A strip of paper about half an inch in height has been removed from the bottom of the table of contents page and the list of illustrations page. Luckily this muti lation is not very noticeable. Otherwise the book and the illustrations are fully intact.
