Book
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Ron King & Don Irwin (illustrator). New edition. This was the eleventh title in a large format series of reprints of children's classics called Educator Classic Library. The book is partially annotated, with words and references that might be unfamiliar explained, sometimes with a little drawing, in the margin. As well as the 1903 short title novel, illustrated by Ron King, this book also contains another short novel from a year earlier, "The Cruise of the Dazzler", illustrated by Don Irwin. The series as a whole, which I believe ran to twelve volumes, is an excellent collection of classic children's literature with an eye on education. This copy is very good indeed, sound and tightly bound, with wear and rubbing to spine ends, and slightly browned edges.
