This publication serves as a visual survey of recent and then current residential projects and designs from the Berlin-based architectural firm of Luckhardt & Anker (Wassili & Hans Luckhardt and Alfons Anker, 1924-1934). Profusely illustrated throughout with countless high-quality b/w photogravure images featuring the firm's projects in various states of development, ranging from completed homes to preliminary designs. Also included are a number of measured drawings and floor plans. P. 51 contains a tipped in photographic reproduction in color (protected with a tissue guard). The images display the firm's modernist Bauhaus-influenced designs for residential architecture, which included single family homes, apartments, and larger housing projects. Of special note is the inclusion of images of the firm's work at for the experimental housing at Schorlemerallee, Berlin. All images captioned. Text in German. Wraps with light wear along edges, minor chips at corners and head and tail of spine. Spine with minor chipping along joints.Interior in near fine condition overall.
