Condition: Fair. Acceptable condition. Both boards detached. Short gifter's inscription on inside. Foxy Grandpa Sparklets series. Reading copy only. In polypropylene bag. (Grandfather, Children's Verse).
Hard. Condition: Acceptable. Has 313 pages in a tight biding. There is a crack along the spine in both the front and back end pages. There is wear and soiling to the covers. No date found in the book but was published in the early 1900s.

It looks like cir. 1890's , Holiday Series. Considering its age it is in very nice condition. The cover is very bright and clean with very little wear. The red canvas spine is in very good condition. There is a small bottom corner crease. The back cover side edge is a bit worn, but the other edges are good. The Title page is loose. The pages are browned with a short bottom edge tear to the first page, otherwise nice pages. Many, many B&W illudtrations.

Book is designed with page of art work to copy followed by a page to make the copy on. Most of the copy pages have been filled in, not necessarily with the intended art. Paper is brittle, leading to many closed tears, and half of one page is missing. Boards are scratched and rubbed with severe wear at corners and along edges. Unpaginated.
