Hardcover. Condition: Good. Subtitle : "His Adventures and Impression." 319 p., plus 16-page catalog, clean and unmarked except for name and 1905 date written in elegant hand on front end page. Wonderful b&w drawings illustrate charming text supposedly dictated by a dog. Frontis.ill. shows collie balancing a piece of bread on his nose while sitting at attention on a tiger-skin rug in front of a lovely young girl in late victorian dress. Caption reads "The silliest trick of all was when I had to balance a piece of biscuit on the end of my long nose." Binding firm; green and orange pictorial binding shows leaf-design that looks like peacock feathers and a series of young boys in profile. Corners are slightly bumped and there is slight rubbing at crown and foot of spine. However there is considerable scuffing away of some color on boards.
