Rowe, 40 pp. Moderate soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers. Lacking a front free-endpaper. Nicely inscribed and signed by the poet at the top margin of the title page, which is rather stained. Also staining to fore edge of a few other pages. Otherwise, a clean, bright and unmarked copy of this scarce poetry collection. ~SP43~ Maggie Culver Fry (1900-1998) was a well known poet in her home state of Oklahoma, where she served as the state poet laureate from 1977-1995. During her writing career, she published more than 800 articles, stories and poems, many attracting national attention. Ms. Fry was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for The Umbilical Cord.
