The featured article in this issue is "The Battle of the Pentagon" by Norman Mailer, a piece on David Dellinger and the National Mobilization to End the War in Vietnam. Among the other contributions are "Voting the Lesser Evil" on the 1968 election by Michael Harrington, "On Not Being a Jew" by Edward Hoagland, and "Hebrew Between Two Worlds" on modern Hebrew literature in the diaspora by Robert Alter.
