This from Wikipedia: Morton Howison Smith (December 11, 1923 to November 12, 2017) was an American Presbyterian minister. He was the first Stated Clerk of the Presbyterian Church in America, serving from 1973 to 1988, and also served as its Moderator in 2000. Smith had degrees from the University of Michigan, Columbia Theological Seminary and the Free University of Amsterdam. He taught at Belhaven College and Reformed Theological Seminary before becoming Stated Clerk of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America. Smith continued to serve as Professor of Systematic and Biblical Theology at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in his retirement. In 2004, a Festschrift was published in his honor. Includes the volumes for the years 1892, 1894, and 1896. ; Benjamin Holliday Catching (1848-1899) was born in Georgetown, Copiah County, Mississippi, graduated from the Dental College in Baltimore, Maryland and later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1880. "His first considerable writing was done for the Southern Dental Journal, which he founded, and which he edited for eight years. Following that, he began the issuance of Catching's Compendium, an annual compilation of practical dental hints culled from the dental literature of each year. Five numbers of this were issued. Later on, in connection with Drs. Johnson, Atkinson, Chappell, and others, he edited the American Dental Weekly. He was a member of the Georgia State Society and the National Dental Association.
