Monica Redlich was an English journalist, author, and social commentator whose books included The Pattern of England, Jam Tomorrow, Summer Landscape, and Danish Delight. She died in 1963. Monica Redlich's first book "Danish Delight" published in 1939 described her first year of married life in Copenhagen; in this book she returns on holiday to Denmark with her husband (Danish Consul General in New York), staying for a time with her parents in England on the way. The contrasts and parallels between the summer landscapes of New England, the English Midlands and Denmark, is one of the themes of the book, but its special charm lies in the gaiety and enthusiasm of the author. 8vo.
