This 144 page work was compiled to draw attention among canadians to Canadian writers. Richardson was born in Queenston in 1796 and has 12 reasonably well-known books to his credit. The most famous of these, `Wacousta ' - first published in 1832. This volume lists 23 editions of the novel ( the author's third) published up to 1967. Publisher's details are provided for each. A few b/w drawings accompany the text - an example being the front cover of Wau-Nan-Gee' on page 100. Cond : Boards are blue with gilt lettering. Issued w/o dust jacket.
