Papier marbré type XVIIIe sur les plats. Gravures montées sur onglets. Bon exemplaire. Première estampe doublée de papier ancien comblant une déchirure et petits manques en marge basse. La seconde estampe contient une déchirure en marge sur 1cm, une tache dans le bas de la gravure, et un manque au coin droit restauré. Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem (1620-1683) est un peintre, dessinateur et graveur hollandais qui compte parmi les principaux italianisants neerlandais. Son oeuvre influença durablement la peinture de paysages. Il excellait dans la représentation d'animaux. Outre 800 peinture et 500 dessins, il est l'auteur de 50 gravures dont les 4 présentes dans ce recueil sont emblématiques de son style mêlant dans un paysage fantasmagorique des animaux domestiques et des paysans, des bergers, des lavandières.
