Minor shelf wear to the extremities. Foyles book sticker to the inside front board. No inscriptions, 284pp, pages are clean with light foxing throughout. (Any digital image available on request).

Valerie Grosvenor Myer's copy of this book which she has signed and dated in the year of publication on the front free endpaper. The book has also been signed by an astonishing additional 33 out of over 50 contributors: Holloway, Waller, Target, Evans, Gohorry, Meadowcroft, Harpley, Williams, Watson, Robinson, Evans, Abbott, Burns, Overhill, Jondorf, Booth, Avison, Cann, Cavaliero, Pollentine, Davies, Holbrook, Barker, Scott, Kramer, Edwards, Anderson, Beck, Worman, Juby, Meadows, Wilson and McMahon as well as on the rear free endpaper by children's author Althea Braithwaite who doesn't have a piece in the book. Bumping to the corners of the boards. Light browning to the edges of the pages. Browning to the endpapers but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has a little light chipping at the base of the spine and some light surface and edge wear. First printing. Signed by Author(s).

Condition: Good. 1967. First thus, Panther edition. 235 pages. Blue paperback book with pictorial cover. Pages are lightly tanned at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Moderate corner creasing in places. Paper cover has moderate edge wear with notable creasing to corners. Light tanning to spine and edges.

Soft cover. Condition: Fair. Fair to good condition soft cover, some wear to cover and spine, tanning to pages, otherwise in a good readable condition.

Jacket, with image of two men fighting, has a 1cm closed tear at top front edge and a 5mm x 5mm chip at base of spine. Edge wear at top of spine only, without loss. Internally brown offsetting to the two end papers. Gift inscription with date on title page. No other faults, tight and clean.
