First edition. 176 pages. Formerly the property of celebrated magician and member of the Magic Circle, Paul Daniels, with his Wally Herbert designed bookplate to the front pastedown, his blindstamp to the front endpaper and a small pencil reference number above. The book is firmly bound in the publisher's blue glazed boards, lettered and decorated in red and black, the boards are slightly rubbed and marked and the spine a little faded. The text block is slightly toned and dusty with minor marks. A nice association copy, Daniels's and Sorcar's careers just overlapped, before the latter's untimely death in 1971 and he knew Sorcar's son, who was also a magician.
