It appears to be unfinished as it only goes up to the sixteenth century, Loosely inserted is a newspaper cutting from 1959 about Archibald George Powell, who apparently was a journalist and well-known figure in Bristol. This might indicate that this work was written by him, it is done in a very neat legible hand. Covers are marked else in good general condition.
