Certains marchands annoncent 3 planches gravées, d'autres deux seulement. Pour ma part je ne trouve dans mes 3 volumes que 2 gravures dans le premier tome dont le portrait en frontispice. Mes trois reliures sont en excellent état bien que montrant un peu d'usure mineure ici et là. Toutefois le cuir du troisième volume est beaucoup plus pâle que les deux autres. Cette différence est en partie dû à une insolation pour ce qui est du dos mais aussi parce que le relieur a utilisé un cuir plus pâle. Les intérieurs sont en assez bon état aussi ; bien complets, solidement reliés, montrant quelques cachets de bibliothèque en début de volumes, des points de rousseur à l'occasion et parfois de petites déchirures (rares) au rebord de quelques pages.
