Capitalism Nature Socialism is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal that was established by James O'Connor and Barbara Laurence in 1988. It is published by Routledge on behalf of the Center for Political Ecology. It covers work on political ecology, with an eco-socialist perspective. The journal was a key development in the Eco-Socialism idea, which reaches back into the 1880's with developments linked to the Marxist and Bolshevist philosophies. William Morris, the English novelist, poet and designer, is largely credited with developing key principles of what was later called eco-socialism. During the 1880s and 1890s, Morris promoted his eco-socialist ideas within the Social Democratic Federation and the Socialist League. (See wiki Eco-Socialism) This RARE RUN from 1990 (number 4)-2020 is missing only 4 issues: 1 & 2 1988; 3, 1989; and 5, 1990. The Journal is online with Taylor and Francis and is still being published.
