July 29th, 1737 " Mr Chichester of Arlington has got a very good deer near his house . & has desired my dogs to assist him . ." May 19th, 1739 " As we are struggling for Liberty at Plymouth against the Artifices and threats of the Minister and the Admiralty ." May 25th, 1739 " I forbore writing since in hopes to have assu'd you the Distemper has made no progress beyond the Custom House." July 17th, 1739 " War is the word with us as well as in the Country, but surely the Coasting Shipps may have protections from hence if the Masters would apply."
