This large hard cover book (9 x 11 ¼ inches 352 pages) was edited and published by Alvin F. Staufer dated 1964 and presumably the First Edition. The book is bound in dark blue cloth with once gilt titles on the spine. The book is amply illustrated throughout with b&w photos (with one exception of a color plate). Condition: This book is in very good condition. The hard covers are a bit dust dulled and the gilt titles muted or faded but still bright and legible. Inside the book is unmarked and the pages are clean and bright from cover to cover. Both hinges are intact, but the front hinge seems to have suffered some internal wear and the cover feels slightly loose (although still well-attached). This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
