Consists of staplebound 8 1/2 x 11 inches 16 pp news magazine, on glossy coated paper, with page black and white photographs of the Scott Laureate, De Luxe Consoles, record changers, Scott-Tauscher Sound Unit, Scott Phantom Deluxe and Scott Philharmonic, giving full descriptions, etc of the equipment, a cover letter announcing a switch to World War II military production and the possibility that they would have to stop making civilian radios, a price list, 9x6 inches, 4 sides total, with photos of the units, and another single sided one for the sound board. Envelope has been torn open, contents are very good+, lightly age yellowed, rust on staples, corners of "News" creased, otherwise all are tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked. Oversize stapled wraps: French fold card covers with spine very worn but not detached, also rubbing to cover edges. A sound binding, name on front cover, handling wear throughout including some tears. Wonderfully illustrated in large format b/w photographs. "The world's finest radio" is a staplebound 8 1/2 x 11 inches 40 pp booklet, on glossy coated paper, with full page black and white photographs of a who's who of mid-20th century classical music figures and facing facsimiles of signed testimonial letters from each, extolling the virtues of their Scott radios. Includes Arturo Toscanini, John Barbirolli, Lily Pons, Jascha Heifetz, Vladimir Horowitz, Jose Iturbi, Eugene Ormandy, etc. The list of owners is 8 1/2 x 14 inches, 13 pp, typewritten and single-sided, and is full of names of captains of industry, nobility, and other members of the hoi-polloi. The price list is 9x6 inches, 4 sides total, with photos of the Scott Masterpiece, Phantom De Luxe and FM-AM Philharmonic. The cover letter is self-explanatory.
