Einband etwas berieben, Kanten leicht beschabt, Ecken und Kapitale leicht bestoßen, nachgedunkelte Klebestreifen an den Innendeckeln und deren Abklatsche auf den Vorsätzen, wenige leichte Notizen in Blei auf der Verlagsanzeigenseite, Seiten papierbedingt minimal gewellt, erste Seiten leicht fingerspurig, eine Seite mit kurzem Randeinriss, sonst gutes Exemplar. Aus dem Nachlass von R. A. Stemmle. Robert Adolf Ferdinand Stemmle, geb. 1903, gest. 1974, auch kurz: R. A. Stemmle oder Robert A. Stemmle, war ein deutscher Autor, Filmregisseur und Produzent. Nach Erfahrungen und Erfolgen mit Kabarett und Theater - so z.B. sein Stück "Kampf um Kitsch" mit Therese Giehse an der Volksbühne Berlin - etablierte er sich als Regisseur und Drehbuchautor zunächst bei der Tobis-Film und dann bei der Ufa. Auch bei der ersten Verfilmung der "Feuerzangenbowle" unter dem Titel "So ein Flegel!" mit Heinz Rühmann von 1934 führte R.A. Stemmle Regie. Ab 1963 gab er gemeinsam mit Herrmann Mostar 15 Bände von "Der neue Pitaval" heraus, einer Sammlung von historischen Strafrechtsfällen. Dementsprechend stammen die Bücher, die wir hier aus seinem Nachlass anbieten, hauptsächlich aus dem 18. / 19. Jahrhundert und behandeln Verbrechen und Strafverfolgung.

Einband berieben und fleckig, Innenfalze aufgeplatzt, Stempel und handschriftlicher Vermerk auf Schutztitel, Papier nachgedunkelt, letzte (Werbe-) Seite lose, einige Anstreichungen mit Bleistift (lassen sich ausradieren).
