Ces dessins furent refusés par le SDP (Sindicat de dibuixants profesionals) un collectif autonome d'artistes et finalement édité par la CNT-FAI. La préface et les textes sont en espagnol, français et anglais. Album très frais.

Contains 30 full-colour paintings, each being full page, with printed descriptive caption on opposite page. Trilingual text in Spanish, French, & English. Evocative collection of propaganda paintings depicting scenes & figures from the Spanish Civil War. The reproductions of the paintings with the artist's signature on each piece are printed so well on heavier stock paper as to almost appear not to be printed copies. The artist "Sim" is apparently a pseudonym for Jose Luis Rey Vila. Printed in Spain. From the introduction: "This album is the artistic essence of a great and pure movement of the masses. A movement towards emancipation of a kind that is worthy of the race, in which heroism is unfolded, and here are displayed the generosity of those ideals with which a people are moved. An artist, a son of the people, has been able to describe with his brush his impressions and his feelings.
