Notable cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Heavy sunning to spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Book has forward lean.

Pages and plates are bright and clear with light foxing and tanning to text block edges, pastedowns, free endpapers and title pages. Light cracking to gutters and hinges; some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
