This is the auction catalog for the collection of Audrey Love. "The Love Collection provides a unique opportunity to study and compare the magnificent silver-gilt objects made in England and France in the early 19th century. The emphasis of the collection on the silver of the Napoleonic and Regency periods invites an examination of the two countries' related yet distinctive styles.Given the enduring popularity of silver of this period, which in terms of Imperial and Regal splendour has surely never been surpassed, it is remakable how little has been written on the similarities and differences between the two. Even when English and French silversmiths used the same design sources, the pieces of silver produced in the two countries exhibit more differences than similarities." Excellent reference source for Regency England and Napoleonic France decorative arts/silver. Oversized. ; Photographs; 8 1/2 x 11; 150 pages; Very slight rubbing.

Hardcover w/ Jacket. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. This 8.25 x 11.25 inch, 119 page hardcover book with dust wrapper is the apparent First Edition of this title in 1968 - with no real printing information given on the copyright page. This hardcover book by Funk and Wagnall?s features a red cloth cover-over-boards with gilt titling on the spine. The red cloth shows a touch of color fading around the edges and very modest bumping to the four corners - but beyond that - this book inside and out is in fine condition. The text pages show no handling wear or markings - with the pages featuring the Eric Sloane incomparable sketch work - and with several black-and-white photos to illustrate the text story. The dust wrapper is in near fine condition with handling-wear showing to the cream-colored paper but the wrapper shows very little edge-wear and with no tears or chips missing - with the $6.99 price unclipped on the front flap. The wrapper is now protected by a mylar cover. 119 pages.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Software Language Engineering, SLE 2011, held in Braga, Portugal, in July 2011.The 18 papers presented together with 4 tool/language demonstration papers were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions. SLE's foremost mission is to encourage and organize communication between communities that have traditionally looked at software languages from different, more specialized, and yet complementary perspectives. SLE emphasizes the fundamental notion of languages as opposed to any realization in specific technical spaces.
