Inside the book are two photograph copies of the author with an unidentified woman and a full page folding article about the author reprinted from "Printing News", September 23, 1939. There is also an old newspaper article about the author's passing clipped from the New York Herald Tribune August 31, 1941. The article has the headlines, "Inventor of the Halftone and Examples of His Work.He Made First Newspaper Reproduction of a Photo in 'N. Y. Graphic' in '80.".
