    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 2nd Edition. Gift inscription on flyleaf dated Christmas 1953. Top edge slightly dusty and minor rubbing on cover. The book traces the descendants of William Stevenson who came to Pennsylvania in 1748 and then settled in present-day Iredell County, North Carolina in 1763. Among his descendants were Adlai Ewing Stevenson (1835-1913), United States vice president and his grandson Adlai E. Stevenson II (1900-1965), two time presidential candidate in 1952 and 1956.
