Neatly inscribed "Merry Christmas 1934" on the half title page. Top edge of front cover has 1/2" closed tear and a bump to the top right corner. Stamped title on spine has faded. Otherwise there is only light shelf wear to the covers and Wyeth plate is clear and bright. Light age- toning of pages. In addition to the cover plate there are nine full color Wyeth plates and illustrated title page. Pictorial paste downs and free end papers also by Wyeth. There are two vertical one inch tears along back hinge on paste down. Firmly bound. The pages and all color plates in this beautiful old book are smooth, clear, and unmarked. 328pp.
